Michigan Native Local Roots
I grew up in Southeast MI, Monroe. I then attended Western Michigan University where I received my B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences, with minors in Chemistry and French, while also participating as varsity athlete on the Cross Country and Track team for 4 years. I met my husband Joel while in Kalamazoo. We moved to Lansing where I completed my Osteopathic Medical Degree through MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. We moved to Traverse City and spent 3 years "up north" for residency training. In 2014, my family and I moved to South Haven MI, where I started work at a small clinic in Bangor, MI. I have spent the last 12 years getting to know, and care for many people in this area, and many have come to feel like family. We have been very involved in this community, with 3 children in the local schools, attending a church here and developing deep friendships. I am so excited to be able to start this next phase, bringing care in a "new way" to the people in and around South Haven; and continue to help support health and wellness in this community that has become my home.
